LAS VEGAS, NV – June 2, 2019 – Maverick Gaming (Maverick) announced today that the company has completed the purchase of the Red Lion Casino, Gold Country Casino and High Desert Inn. "With this acquisition we have increased our position in Northern Nevada to four casinos with inventory nearing 1,200 hotel rooms, and over 1,500 slot machines,” said CEO of Maverick Gaming.  “We intend to acquire more assets in Northern Nevada in the near future.” “With this acquisition complete, our team will now shift its focus to Washington where we are hopeful we will close both the Nevada Gold (UWN) purchase as well as the Great American Gaming purchase in June of this year.”

LAS VEGAS, NV – May 30, 2019 – Maverick Gaming (or Maverick”) announced today that Thomas J. Granite has been named Chief Financial Officer, effective June 5th, 2019, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Mr. Granite brings more than twenty years of gaming industry and investment banking experience to his new role at Maverick, most recently serving as Managing Director at Jefferies in its Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging Investment Banking group.  In this role, he worked with clients across the gaming industry, providing expertise to clients regarding mergers and acquisitions, high yield notes, leveraged loans, private and public equity. Mr. Granite began his banking career with companies such as JP Morgan Chase and Merrill Lynch where he served as Director of Gaming, Leisure, and Transportation Investment Banking before coming to Jefferies.  His broad-based financial experience touches all regions of gaming globally. The Red Lion Casino, Gold Country Casino, and High Desert will add over 435 slot machines, 11 table games and 544 hotel rooms to Maverick Gaming’s™ regional operations. Maverick Gaming™ is enthusiastic about the acquisition and looks forward to growing its operations in the Northern Nevada market. Maverick has increased EBITDA by 80% year-over-year in the Wendover market and is eager about the EBITDA opportunity in the Elko. The operation continues to grow its business with more strategic acquisitions in the coming months. LAS VEGAS, NV – April 25, 2019 – Maverick Gaming LLC (“Maverick” or “Maverick Gaming”) today announced the signing of a definitive purchase agreement with Great Canadian Gaming Corporation to acquire all of the shares and assets of Great American Gaming Corporation (“GAG”, a US affiliate of Great Canadian Gaming Corporation) including three card rooms located in Everett, Tukwila and Lakewood, subject to regulatory approvals.  The transaction includes 45 table games, four restaurants, three bars and supporting amenities. Maverick Gaming was founded in 2017.  The company and its affiliates currently own the Wendover Nugget and Red Garter Hotels in Wendover, Nevada.  Maverick is also on the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s agenda in May to purchase the Red Lion Casino, Gold Country Casino, and High Desert Inn located in Elko Nevada, from Navegante Management. Maverick Gaming previously announced in September 2018 a definitive purchase agreement to acquire Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (NYSE: UWN) whose portfolio includes nine card rooms in Washington with seven in the greater Seattle area.
