Maverick Cares partners with local community organizations to support families

WASHINGTON – In partnership with local community leaders, Maverick Cares, a ‘good neighbor’ program of Maverick Gaming that is managed by its team members, is providing 4,000 free Thanksgiving meals for up to 16,000 people. The pre-packaged meals will be distributed using vouchers issued in advance and will include such items as: Turkey Breast, Carver Ham, Cornish Game Hens, Mashed Potatoes, Canned Green Beans, Dinner Rolls, Pumpkin Pie, Gravy Packets, Isierno’s Sausage Rolls and Cranberry Sauce. Participating families will be able to show their vouchers to Maverick Cares volunteers on-site and pick up their Thanksgiving meal today from 3 PM to 7PM in the parking lots of designated locations listed below.
