Participating Maverick Gaming locations distributed free July 4th care packages: hot dogs, buns, juice boxes, watermelon, Fla-Vor-Ice, potato and macaroni salad and age-appropriate toys for kids 
Maverick Cares partnered with almost 40 local community non-profit organizations to support 4000 families today across the State of Washington 

In partnership with local community leaders, Maverick Cares, a ‘good neighbor’ program of Maverick Gaming that is managed by its team members, today sponsored a giveaway of free July 4th care packages for families that included hot dogs, buns, juice boxes, watermelon, Fla-Vor-Ice, potato and macaroni salad and age-appropriate toys for kids. These care packages were distributed today at participating Maverick Gaming locations in accordance with public health requirements regarding the novel coronavirus pandemic.  Maverick Cares was proud to partner with local community organizations such as Alderwood Boys & Girls Club, Annie’s Community Kitchen, Boys & Girls Club Pasco, Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, Concern for Neighbors Food Bank, Holly House Kids Organization, Hope Creek Charitable Foundation, Imagine Housing, Kennewick Police Department, Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club, Nourish Pierce County, Renton Innovation Zone Partnership, Shoreline Lake Forest Park Senior Center, Still Waters: Services for Families in Transition, Transform Burien, Washington Kids in Transition, Faith Lutheran Church Meal Program, Tukwila Pantry, Catholic Community and Housing Services of Western Washington and the Yakima Mayor’s Office to make this family holiday giveaway possible. In accordance with public health requirements, Maverick Gaming operations currently allow for 14 locations to offer restaurant and card room services.

Washington has passed a law requiring the State Gambling Commission to finalize a self-exclusion system by 2021, but Maverick Gaming has already implemented centralized self-exclusion statewide, restricting access to problem gamblers in all its card rooms.
