NEVADA – July 31st 2021 — Maverick Gaming, the nation’s fastest growing regional casino operator, is pleased to announce the launch of Maverick Casino & Hotel. This exciting, new hospitality brand represents the first phase in Maverick Gaming’s strategy to redevelop and connect its properties across its regional footprint. Maverick Gaming, based in Kirkland, Washington, has acquired 24 unique brands and properties, in Nevada, Colorado and Washington. The multi-year plan is to upgrade the physical infrastructure, improve the overall gaming, guest experience, and rebrand them as either Maverick Casino & Hotel, Ace’s Poker, Dragon Tiger Casino, or Macau Legend.

This conversion of the Red Lion Hotel and Casino Elko to Maverick Casino & Hotel is a major step forward in improving the look and feel, quality of service and amenities and overall guests experience in Elko, Nevada. Regional President Steve Sirianni added “We are excited to launch the first Maverick Casino and Hotel in the country. Our goal at Maverick has always been to upgrade the experience for our loyal guests. With this debut we also wanted to honor our community, team members and the rich past that the Red Lion Hotel and Casino had in Elko.”
Maverick Casino & Hotel will feature History Wall with remnants of old signage, photos, gaming chips, and other nostalgic items.
The property will debut with over $2 million in renovations:
· 400 gallons of custom Maverick Blue paint covering 35,000 square feet
· 2000 ft of custom color changing lighting on the exterior
· 85-foot new pylon sign off the I-80 with LED display
· 24-foot monument sign along Idaho Street with LED display
· 5 Minute light show in Porte Cochere featuring new translucent and opaque tiles
· 8-foot, only in Elko, larger-than-life boot art installment paying tribute to the Elko famous Centennial Boot Project
Maverick Elko Casino & Hotel will change the way people in Elko Play. Guests can see it all for themselves at the grand re-opening Saturday, July 31, 2021. Renovations are slated to be complete by the end of the year.
